But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been. I get tongue tied, and I stutter.”
But Moses again pleaded, “Lord, please! Send anyone else!” – Exodus 4:10, 13
“O Sovereign Lord,” Jeremiah said, “I can’t speak for you! I am too young!” – Jeremiah 1:6
“But Lord,” Gideon replied, “how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family!” – Judges 6:15
In our world we need to have ability to do tasks.
The huge difference between the world and God is that God isn’t concerned in your ability. It is His ability and your availability that He uses to bless through and to you.
If you’re willing in your unworthiness, in your inability, God will provide the resources. So say yes and be willing to trust God when you feel He is leading you in a place you don’t feel adequate or qualified. Then you will not lean on your own understanding! You will have to trust Him – that’s what He wants! You will have to rely on Him. Therefore He will get all the glory for you will certainly give it to Him because you know that it wasn’t you.
That is operating in faith, truly experiencing God’s presence.
Intentionally, today….and everyday…be willing
