Reading the Tea Leaves

A right time to embrace and another to part,

A right time to search and another to count your losses,

A right time to hold on and another to let go,

A right time to rip out and another to mend.

    –Ecclesiastes 3:3-The Message

It can be a challenge, a burden, discerning new seasons of life.

At times it is because we don’t want to let go of one and embrace the next.
We question whether we should stay or move on.

Change can be tough when we have become secure in the familiar.

Other seasons are those where we need to let go of pride and in so doing we can receive peace of mind and relief that we might not have been expecting.

There is forgiveness to extend and forgiveness to accept.

Times we need to stop trying and let go and for others a time to try more resolutely and determined.

Maybe you are in that predicament.  Where you just don’t know.  This is a time of faith.  Through our faith in these uncertainties we can trust in the evidence of things unseen.

It takes wisdom.  God allows these wilderness experiences so that we will rely not on our own understanding but to seek God’s.  It is His wisdom that can give us the clarity we need.

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.  James 1:5

In so doing all fear and hesitation will give way to the Humble Confidence you receive by operating in faith.

Is this you?  For such a time as this?

Intentionally, today..…and everyday… Choose by the wisdom God offers
